I wrote the majority of the composition this Taksim is based around while in Fez, Morroco some years ago. Fez has a beautifully spiritual vibe about it and i fell instantly in love with the place. I tried to put those impressions into the composition as well as expand and meditate on it here with this taksim; blue, green, brown and gold tones, ancient, secretive, yet inquisitive, open and spacious, surrounded by the green of nature amid rolling mountains, relaxed, suspended in peace.
