about

The song Coverage was written in the run-up to the Iraq war in 2003 and it was a musical comment on the media's dismal role as mostly a cheerleader to death instead of being what it should be: truly fair and balanced and mostly truly informed and informative towards truth and peace between humans not agendas of $$.

The word Coverage though can mean many things in many context; healthcare, mosquito repellent, Insurances, camouflage, paint, sound, propaganda, cell phone plan, spying, policing, it's also interesting split apart: cover age.

The song is really fun to play, rocks pretty heavy, the improvised section is a group effort of stellar proportion, my girlfriend can even dance to it so '...this one goes to 11' as they say in the biz.

The Photo is of the sculpture: Toppled, by Farideh Sakhaeifar 2015
