This is part of a series of improvised sessions i held at OutByTheTree Studios in NYC. Jeff Shurdut was a big catalyst here, he brought in the always amazing Brian Osborne as well as doing what he does so well with sound. I had met Dikko, and Robin earlier and knew their playing was always informed from the perspective of the present moment, both being great listeners. Dikko has such a great humor in his expression and Robin has i think an uncanny way of always playing the perfect sound at any given moment. Takuma is an old friend from the Bombpop days, a bit of a artistic chameleon who always brings a uniquely oblique atmospheric mood to whatever he engages.
