Informed by Near Eastern Music, Free-Jazz, World Roots Music, and a total universe of internal information moment to moment. Simultaneously a means to an end and an end in itself; both journey and goal, a combination of virtuosity, sensitivity and curiosity; an expression of natural spontaneous balance; this music flows spontaneously from the texture of the moment of playing, using intuition and risk in the present moment towards creating its own style as a soundsign continuum. We'd like to ask the listener to ‘keep listening’ -- to follow a sound or melodic shape and notice that it will draw you into another direction. That pull allows you to discover a sound as part of another sound, as if entering into another realm. Just when you hear something, you hear something else and this is the soundsign’s inherent fluidity engaging you in seen and unseen worlds in dialogic fashion. We hope you enjoy! Peace
